Custom Precision Gears

Custom precision gears are essential in mechanical assemblies requiring high accuracy and durability. In this project, the client requested 50 gears with exceptionally tight tolerances for automated production equipment. The project demanded not only dimensional accuracy but also material hardness and resistance to wear under repeated mechanical stress. Our team initiated the project by reviewing the gear specifications, including tooth geometry, pitch, and load-bearing requirements, then proposed an optimized production process combining CNC grinding, heat treatment, and finishing.

Each gear was machined with ±0.01mm accuracy, ensuring precise engagement and smooth rotation in assemblies. To achieve the required hardness and strength, the gears underwent heat treatment processes carefully controlled to prevent warping or distortion. After machining, gears were subjected to rigorous durability testing, including 100,000 rotation cycles under simulated operational loads, verifying performance and wear resistance.

Workflow optimization allowed us to reduce production costs by 12% per batch while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency. Additional quality checks included tooth profile verification, surface roughness measurement, and material hardness testing, guaranteeing that every gear met client specifications.
