GaN Type-C Fast Charger
The GaN Type-C fast charger project was developed to meet the growing demand for compact, high-performance charging solutions in modern consumer electronics. The client required a charger capable of delivering high power output while maintaining a small form factor, excellent thermal performance, and compliance with international safety standards. Traditional silicon-based chargers often face limitations in efficiency and heat dissipation, which makes GaN technology an ideal alternative.
Our engineering team began by optimizing the circuit design and selecting high-quality GaN components to ensure efficient power conversion. By redesigning the internal layout and minimizing energy loss, the charger achieved a full-load efficiency of up to 92%. At the same time, the compact structure allowed a 35% reduction in overall product size, making it more portable and suitable for daily use across multiple devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Thermal management was a critical aspect of this project. We implemented advanced heat dissipation materials and optimized airflow within the enclosure to control temperature rise within 45°C under continuous operation. This ensured both safety and long-term reliability. In addition, the charger supports up to 65W output, enabling fast charging for a wide range of devices while maintaining stable voltage and current output.
During the production phase, automated SMT lines and strict testing procedures were used to guarantee consistent quality. Each unit underwent electrical performance testing, safety inspection, and durability verification. This comprehensive quality control process ensured that every product met the required standards before delivery.
The final result is a highly efficient, compact, and reliable charging solution that enhances user convenience while reducing energy consumption. This project demonstrates our capability to integrate advanced materials, precision electronics manufacturing, and efficient production processes to deliver high-quality consumer electronic products.
